Born right here in New Brunswick Crystal got her start at the Hilton International in Saint John at the age of 19 and never looked back. After several years at the Hilton a move to beautiful Prince Edward Island started a 10-year career with Canadian Pacific Hotels & Resorts that provided the opportunity to work in such beautiful provinces as Alberta and British Columbia and all the way back to the Algonquin in New Brunswick.
In 2005 Crystal moved to Fredericton and took her place amongst the team in the restaurant of the Crowne Plaza Lord Beaverbrook for the next 14 years. Her fondest memories there were not only the friends that were made but being part of the team that started and cared for the Roof Top Garden. In 2019 Crystal walked across the street and joined the Hilton Garden Inn as Food and Beverage Manager.
Growing up with grandparents that both had farms and simple home spun values made for an easy understanding for the Homemade food and recipes Chef Sarah was preparing. Several of her own family recipes are used in the Pickle Pantry.
